Character Show Productions are usually around 30 to 45 minutes long. They’re this length because as we all know, kids can have a short span of attention! Firstly we would find a theme or story that you want your show to be based around. We would then write the script with all the characters playing their parts. Songs would be created and added to link up with various parts within the production.
There would also usually be tie a up of the story at the end. Something like, everybody lives happily ever after. The gang have saved the day, and the moral to the story kids is……. And we like to finish with a mega mix mash-up of the songs used in the show. A typical character show could have 4 or 5 songs depending on how many characters you have.
POP CONCERT STYLE character SHOW production
A great add on for your character shows is a pop concert. This is where each character has their own time to shine and could sing something from the latest charts. We could build the whole show up like you would a huge arena show. Maybe an X factor style voice over and “Boom” the gang give the kids their own private pop concert. They toured around all the major parks driving all the people crazy with their infectious fun party dance songs. I’m sure you will have heard of songs like: – The Mexican Wave, Caribbean Way, Old King Kool and The Finger Song. And a remixed party dance version of The Purple People Eater.
Big Fish Little Fish
And we can’t forget the ultimate kids crazy dance song “Big Fish Little Fish”. Although written in the Rik and Nik style, this was written and sung by Nik on his own.
